Jonathan Quick Makes One of Season’s Best Plays With Amazing Kick-Save

L.A. Kings goalie Jonathan Quick has made plenty of seemingly-impossible saves in his NHL career. But the one he made in the final minutes of Saturday’s game against the Winnipeg Jets is the one everyone’s currently talking about.

After a shot-fake by Jets forward Blake Wheeler, Quick went down to anticipate and make a play. But Wheeler went around him and flung the puck toward what looked like an empty net.

Should’ve been an easy goal, right?

Wrong. Quick flipped his leg up and deflected the puck with his skate for an amazing kick-save. What a play by arguably the best goaltender in the world.
